We are a different and exclusive hotel located on Kilometer 2 of the Road to Manuel Antonio National Park, open since December 2003, we offer our visitors, local or foreign, a completely different alternative to the places in the area.

It is a new neocolonial Costa Rican house located inside a humid tropical forest, this is why the flora and wildlife of such a forest can be appreciated in the inside and surroundings of the installations of the hotel, as an example you may see the Titi monkey (saimiri oestedi), Cariblanco monkey (cebus capucinus) and some times the howling monkey or Congo, (allouata villosa), birds such as, pecho Amarillo - mosquero (tyrannidae), Sosterres (troglodytadee), Hormiguero bird (formicaraiidae), Reinitas (parulidae), Sargents, Widows, Seven Colors (thraupidae), Yiguirros (turidae), Pigeons, Tortolitas (columbidae), Woodpeckers (picidae), Bumblebee(throchiladae), Bobo bird (momotidae) and much more; insects like butterflies, reptiles and other teeth less species like Two finger Perezoso (cholepues hoffmani) and the Three finger Perezoso (bradypus griseus), Armadillos (dasypus novemcinctus) and carnivores like the Honey Bear (potos flavus), coyote(canis latrans), Pizote (nasua narica or narica narica) and more. Within the installations we have plants such as Yellow Cortex (tabebuia chrysantha), Guacimo(guazuma ulmifolia), Sabana Oak(tabebuia rosea), Teca, Capulin and in the sorrounding forest we see Araceas(Loteria, Colas), small Palm tree, (pacayas), and thick formations of platanillas (Musaceas, Manaceas, Marantaceas), also orchids and bromeliaceas(Pinuelas)…


We have a strategic location five minutes by car or bus to the city of Quepos. Within a walk able distance is Macha beach ( a place of an incredible beautiful scenery, safe, with few visitors), the walk to this beach is thru a passage way inside the forest with the characteristics mentioned before. There is also a passage way to the top of a nearby hill, where you will find a panoramic view of the city of Quepos and the region of Aguirre, then on your way down you will find several small waterfalls where you can relax in a safe environment with the same characteristics as Manuel Antonio National Park

Rooms have been decorated with a neocolonial feeling but without losing the comfort of a modern hotel room: Cable TV, TV, Refrigerator, private bathroom, hot water, and excellent hygiene. Also included you'll have a Tico ( Costa Rican) and continental Breakfast served in a big dinning room with a view and a neocolonial feeling. We have many reading exclusive areas.

It is important to remark that our hotel, qualified as a boutique hotel, has more square meters of infrastructure per guest that any other in the area.
